The Practice Texas · Built in Nashville

Own the practice. Keep the freedom.

The Practice began in Nashville as a real, hospitality-first dental practice. Now we are bringing the brand, operating foundation, and support to Texas so exceptional dentists can own and lead thriving local practices without starting from zero.

Started in Nashville. Built from real practice experience.

The Practice was created inside the realities of owning and operating a dental practice—not in a boardroom.

Founded in 2021 by Matthew and Brooke Kasiar, The Practice combines clinical excellence with a hospitality-first patient experience and a team-first approach. The Texas expansion carries that same foundation forward: help dentists lead confidently, build strong teams, deliver exceptional care, and create a business that supports the life they want.

Why Texas

Texas is growing. The path to dentist ownership should grow with it.

We chose Texas because it brings together fast-growing communities, distinct major markets, strong dental talent, and a real need for more ways to become an owner without building alone or selling too early.

01

New communities need local owners.

Houston and Dallas–Fort Worth were the two largest-gaining U.S. metro areas from 2024 to 2025. As Texas communities expand, patients need dentists who are invested in the places they serve.

Growth creates room for new practices—and new owners.
02

Texas is not one dental market.

DFW, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio each have different patient expectations, talent pools, development patterns, and opportunities. The foundation can be shared while each practice is built locally.

One model should adapt to the city, dentist, and community.
03

Texas is the right place for a third path.

Many dentists feel forced to choose between carrying every burden alone and joining a large platform. The Practice is designed to explore meaningful dentist ownership with a stronger foundation behind it.

Not isolated independence. Not ownership in name only.

Texas is not simply our next territory. It is where we intend to prove that dentist ownership can scale without losing its meaning.

Choose the Path That Fits You

The Practice can support more than one kind of Texas dentist.

Some dentists are ready to own their first practice. Some already own and want to grow. Others know the exact dentist who deserves the opportunity.

The Practice Model

Your freedom. Our foundation. One shared standard.

The local dentist leads the practice. The Practice helps build and support the business around that leadership. The exact ownership and economic structure is defined for the specific path and documented before any commitment.

01

The dentist leads.

You lead clinical care, team culture, patient relationships, and the local practice. The model is designed around meaningful dentist leadership—not replacing it.

Your name, judgment, and reputation matter.
02

The Practice provides the foundation.

Brand, patient experience, site and launch support, recruiting, training, marketing, operations, technology, vendor coordination, performance visibility, and growth guidance.

You do not have to invent every system yourself.
03

The relationship is built for long-term alignment.

Roles, economics, capital, decision rights, performance expectations, and ownership are made clear so everyone understands what they are building together.

Clarity before commitment. Alignment before growth.

Owner Expansion Path

For an established dentist who wants to grow without rebuilding every system.

“I know how to care for patients and lead a practice. I need a better way to add a location or develop another owner.”

What the path can include

  • A second or third Practice location
  • An associate-to-owner or succession pathway
  • Shared brand, launch, operating, and growth support
  • Local flexibility within a consistent patient and business standard
Discuss Owner Expansion

Not a generic associate job. Not an acquisition-first pitch. A dentist-led path to build, own, and grow with a stronger foundation.

What the Foundation Includes

More time leading the practice. Less time rebuilding the business around it.

The Practice is intended to reduce the complexity that keeps good dentists from owning or growing successfully.

01

Build and Launch

Market and site evaluation, development planning, launch sequencing, recruiting, training, vendor setup, and opening support.

Open with a plan instead of a blank page.
02

Operate and Grow

Brand, marketing, patient experience, operating playbooks, team development, technology, reporting, and performance guidance.

Grow with visibility, standards, and support.
03

Protect the Life You Are Building

A practice should create financial strength, leadership opportunity, family time, and freedom—not simply a larger workload.

Success should work inside and outside the operatory.
The goal is not simply to open more dental offices. It is to help more exceptional dentists become strong owners.

Where We Are Starting in Texas

One state. Four distinct starting markets.

We are beginning where growth, talent, and local practice opportunity intersect—and evaluating each market through the eyes of the dentist who may lead there.

The Practice Experience

A stronger business should create a better experience for patients, teams, and dentists.

The Nashville foundation is built around clinical excellence, hospitality, confident leadership, and a practice people are proud to be part of.

Hospitality-First Care

Patients should feel known, comfortable, and cared for—not processed. The experience should reduce anxiety and build lasting trust.

Team-First Leadership

Strong practices are built by teams that understand the standard, feel supported, and see a future inside the business.

Freedom Through Strength

Leadership, community, financial strength, and growth should work together so the dentist can shape a better professional and personal future.

The brand promise is simple: Your freedom. Our foundation. Texas is where we are extending that promise with local dentists who want to own and lead.

Where The Practice Fits

A third path between building alone and giving up too much.

The Practice combines dentist leadership and local ownership ambition with the brand, systems, support, and community needed to build more confidently.

Texas Dentist FAQ

What dentists usually want to understand first.

These conversations should be direct. Here is the clearest current explanation of the origin, the model, and the Texas opportunity.

Where did The Practice begin?

The Practice was founded in Nashville in 2021 by Matthew and Brooke Kasiar. It grew from a real dental-practice experience built around clinical excellence, hospitality, team culture, and helping dentists create greater freedom.

Why expand into Texas?

Texas combines major population growth with several distinct dental markets and a large pool of dentists who may want a better ownership or expansion path. We are starting with DFW, Austin, Houston, and San Antonio.

What is the model?

The dentist leads the local practice and clinical care. The Practice provides a shared brand and operating foundation that can include development, recruiting, training, marketing, patient experience, operations, technology, reporting, and growth support.

What is build-to-own?

It is a potential path for a highly qualified dentist who is ready to lead but is not positioned to finance, develop, and launch a practice entirely alone. The specific capital, ownership, and timing structure would be defined individually.

Can an existing owner participate?

Yes. An owner may explore another location, a Practice-branded expansion, or a path that helps a strong associate become a future owner while protecting the practice’s standards and reputation.

Is this a DSO acquisition?

No. This is not being presented as an acquisition-first or sell-your-practice conversation. It is intended to create a dentist-led ownership and growth option with meaningful local leadership.

Who makes clinical decisions?

Clinical care and professional judgment remain with properly licensed dental professionals. Any business or support arrangement must preserve that boundary and comply with applicable law.

Are the ownership economics final?

Not yet for every path. Roles, capital, economics, decision rights, and ownership must be documented in definitive agreements before anyone commits.

What is the first step?

A short private conversation about your current practice or career, the market you know, what you want to build, and what you would need from the model for it to make sense.
